what a change

today i received an unexpected voicemail from someone i've been anticipating to hear from at some point.
the old friend that lives inside of me wants to be done w/ that in two seconds, make everything honky dorey, and make peace not war....but since that old friend is very very very sick, peace usually becomes war.
unnecessary hurt for ambos.
Thankful am i for tools, hoes, shovels, trowels, stakes and watering cans. they help me grow up and down....not backward.

today was lovely

today was a lovely day.
I saw a bike that loves bikes,
a dog with two different colored eyes,
and shared with people i care about
and who care about me.
